2020-22 Super Duty F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550 and F-600 Trucks Recall

Affected Vehicles:
- 2020-22 Super Duty F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550 and F-600 trucks
- 2021-22 F-650 and F-750 vehicles
- Approximately 295,000 vehicles affected
Issue:
The pump drivetrain roller components may accumulate biodiesel deposits, which could lead to the failure of the high-pressure fuel pump and a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy:
Ford is currently developing a solution for this issue. Once available, the repair will be performed free of charge at authorized Ford dealerships.

2021-23 Bronco Sports and 2022-23 Mavericks Battery Recall

Issue:
The original-equipment 12-volt battery may experience internal weld or cast-on-strap failures, potentially causing sudden degradation of the battery while the vehicle is in motion. A sudden degradation of the battery during a drive can lead to a stall while coming to a stop or prevent the vehicle from restarting after an auto stop-start event, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy:
Dealers will replace the battery free of charge.

2021-24 Badlands-trim or Sasquatch Package-equipped Broncos Recall

- 2021-24 Sasquatch Package-equipped Broncos
- Approximately 149,000 vehicles affected
Issue:
Corrosion may occur between the external shock reservoir, mounting flange and damper body, causing the external reservoir to separate from the vehicle and become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy:
Dealers will inspect and replace the shock absorbers as necessary free of charge.
What to Do:
- Watch for notification from Ford (letters began May 5, 2025)
- Be alert for any unusual noises from the suspension

2024 Ranger and 2024-2025 Bronco Control Arm Recall

Issue:
The front upper control arm ball joint nut may not have been installed or tightened properly, allowing the front upper control arm to detach from the knuckle assembly.
Remedy:
Dealers will inspect and properly tighten or replace the front upper control arm ball joint nut as necessary free of charge.
What to Do:
- Owner notification letters were mailed June 1, 2025
- Contact Ford customer service at 866-436-7332 with questions
- Schedule service immediately if you notice any steering issues
2024-2025 Escape Air Bag Recall

Affected Vehicles:
- 2024-2025 Escape vehicles
Issue:
The passenger side instrument panel cover may have been manufactured incorrectly, which can cause the air bag not to deploy as intended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."
Remedy:
Dealers will replace the passenger side instrument panel cover free of charge.
